Nothing feels better than
HOME.
From start to finish, we craft your perfect place to roost. Every home we build is special. No two are the same, and we can build whatever “home” means to you.
Roost Building Company is just a little bit different from other home builders in the area. We take pride in offering the customer service of a smaller company while operating with the professionalism and processes of a much larger organization. We prioritize the quality of our homes and the longevity of our relationships over our bottom line. Our relationships with our clients and the love of their homes are more important to us than any net profit.
Roost Building Company can handle any type of project — spec houses, custom homes, or large-scale renovations/additions. We can create whatever the word “home” brings to mind for you. We’re not the average custom home builder in Virginia and North Carolina, and we don’t build the average home.
ROOSTS
HOMES Made for all that feel meant for you
Spec
Our spec homes in Virginia and North Carolina offer features and selections usually found only when building a home from scratch. Each spec house receives the attention and thoughtfulness of a model home, and each exhibits a one-of-a-kind design that showcases our impressive standard features. In addition, they all feature unique aspects that make the home special. No two houses are the same, just as no two families are the same, and we’ve got a special roost just for you and your family, made special by Roost Building Company.
HOMES As unique as the people who live in them
Custom
We are a high quality custom home builder in Southwest Virginia. We guide clients throughout the entire build process. We help with everything from lot purchasing and permitting to handing over the keys to a finished home. Our meticulous record-keeping and skilled vendor base enable endless customization options, whether you use one of our existing plans or create something brand new that’s all your own. Because of our extensive custom-build expertise, we can plan and build a special home that fits your vision. Whatever “home” means to you, we can build it. We will build you a roost perfectly tailored to your dreams.
When your current home just needs a little help

“I highly recommend Roost Building Company! We have been in our house here at Lake Royale for just over a year now. And, we have been completely satisfied with the whole process!! Everything from conception, to completion, was done with extreme professionalism. Brandon was able to overcome everything we asked of him and his team.”
